The Ministry with the help of Nodal Agencies like KVIC, Coir Board and IEDO is in the process of selecting 800 clusters across the country. Fakirpur Paper mache cluster, Keonjhar cluster situated in Aandapur block of Keonjhar district in Odisha is one such potential VI Cluster considered to be developed under Cluster Mode. Project Steering Committee has already given in principle approval and made M/s Sahayam as Implementing Agency. Subsequently IEDO has appointed M/s Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) as Technical Agency and entrusted the task of conducting Preliminary survey in the cluster and submitting Preliminary Project Report (PPR) as the first phase. This report has approved in scheme steering committee. Now technical agency is preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for final approval of the project.
